The decimal format is used throughout Buddy Punch and is not configurable. Our Employee Detail Report and the Payroll Export show the hours in both formats, but if you need to convert decimals to hours and minutes manually you can use the following calculation.

If an employee works 6.738 hours, the first number in front of the decimal would represent the total amount of hours worked. So in this case, they have worked six hours.

To determine the minutes, you would need to take .738 and multiply that by 60. 

.738 X 60 = 44.28 

6.738 hours worked converts to 6 hours and 44 minutes.
