How to Set a Maximum:
If you'd like to set a maximum time off balance for one or multiple time off codes, you can do this by going to Settings followed by Time Off:
On the Time Off page, select Edit next to the time off code you'd like to enable a max for:
You will want to start by checking the box next to Set a maximum hours allowed. If you'd like for all new employees to have a default max, enter that in the box below the main setting.
If you're using the option for the first time, select the Apply default to all current employees option to apply the maximum to all employees.
You also have the option of manually entering the max hours allowed per employee:
If you only want certain employees to be included in the time off code uncheck the Assign Time Off Earning Code to all current and future employees and then check the box next to each employee you'd like to include:
How to Disallow Negative Balances:
To disable negative time off balances, you will want to visit Settings followed by Time Off:
On the Time Off page, you will need to select Edit next to the time off code you'd like to disable negative balances for:
Uncheck the box next to Negative Balances Allowed and or disable the option on a per employee basis. Save once done:
If you'd like to disable negative balance for future employees, make sure to uncheck the box next to Allow negative balances for new employees:
