When taking pictures of your employees for the Facial Recognition feature, there are a few important factors to keep in mind.
It is recommended to have the employee's face take up a large portion of the frame.
Place a light source in front of the employee to avoid casting shadows across the face.
Ask the employee to have a neutral expression not only when they have their picture taken for the initial setup of the Facial Recognition feature, but also when they use the feature moving forward.
Although the background doesn't need to be a specific color, such as white or black, you should be able to easily differentiate between the employee and the background.
