When taking pictures of your employees for the Facial Recognition feature, there are a few important factors to keep in mind.
- It is recommended to have the employees face take up a large portion of the frame.
- Place a light source in front of the employee to avoid casting shadows across the face.
- Ask the employee to have a neutral expression not only when they have their picture taken for the initial setup of the Facial Recognition feature, but also when they use the feature moving forward.
- Although the background doesn't need to be a specific color, such as white or black, you should be able to easily differentiate between the employee and the background.
