If you have a device that has a front facing camera and prefer to use that to scan your QR Code, this option can be enabled by clicking Menu (three dashes) followed by Settings as shown below:

You will then want to toggle the switch next to "Prefer front camera for QR Code." Please know: This is not a sliding toggle, you need to tap the toggle.
