Overview: We offer several different punching methods including username/password, QR Code, PIN, and Facial Recognition. Please choose your employer's preferred method below for instructions on how to punch in/out.

Punching In/Out (Username/Password)

1. To punch in/out with a username and password, start by logging into our website at http://app.buddypunch.com/:

2. Once you're logged in, simply choose the Punch In button. If your employer allows for edits and you want to punch and edit your time, choose the Punch In & Select Time option. There will be a brief moment where your punch needs to save and then your time card status will change to Punched In:

3. If your employer has set you up with Location or Department codes, you'll need to make a selection prior to punching in:

4. If the scheduling feature is enabled, you'll have to select a shift (if only one shift is assigned for the day it will be auto-populated) and then punch in:

5. When you're ready to punch out, simply log in and choose the Punch Out button. If your employer allows for edits and you want to punch and edit your time, choose the Punch Out & Select Time option. There will be a brief moment where your punch needs to save and then your time card status will change to Punched Out:

Punching In/Out (QR Code)

1. To punch in/out with a QR Code, start by visiting our website at http://app.buddypunch.com/ and choose the QR Code option:

2. You'll then be asked to hold your QR Code up to the camera:

3. If no Location or Department Codes are assigned and scheduling is not enabled, you'll immediately be punched in:

4. If Location or Department Codes are enabled, you'll be required to make a selection prior to choosing the Punch In button:

5. If scheduling is enabled, you'll be required to select your shift and any associated codes. Note: If only one shift is assigned for the day, it will auto-populate. Choose Punch In once you've made your selection:

6. Once you've been punched in, you'll receive a confirmation message:

7. To punch out, simply scan your code and choose the Punch Out button. You'll receive a confirmation message that you've been punched out:

Punching In/Out (Kiosk - PIN)

1. To punch in/out with a PIN, start by visiting our website at http://app.buddypunch.com/ and choose the PIN option:

2. You'll then want to enter the 4-digit PIN which will be provided by your employer. You can use your keyboard or click the numbers:

3. If no Location or Department Codes are assigned and scheduling is not enabled, you'll simply choose the Punch In button:

4. If you're assigned Location or Department Codes, you'll be required to make a selection prior to choosing the Punch In button:

5. If scheduling is enabled, you'll be required to select a shift prior to choosing the Punch In button. If only one shift is assigned, it will be automatically selected:

6. Once the punch in is complete, you'll receive a confirmation message:

7. To punch out, simply choose the PIN punching option, enter your unique 4-digit PIN and choose the Punch Out button:

8. Once the punch out has been processed, you'll receive a confirmation message:

Punching In/Out (Facial Recognition)

1. To punch in/out with Facial Recognition, start by visiting our website at http://app.buddypunch.com/ and choose the Facial Recognition option:

2. Afterr you've chosen the Facial Recognition feature, you'll then want to select the Punch button:

3. If your employer has you setup with Locations or Departments, you'll be required to select those first and then choose the Punch In button:

4. If your employer has scheduling enabled, you'll need to choose your shift for the day and then select Punch In:

5. Once the punch has been processed, you'll receive a confirmation message:

6. To punch out, simply choose the Facial Recognition feature, select the Punch button and you'll be punched out.

FAQ:

Q: Why am I being asked to have my picture taken?

A: All of our punching methods have the option to require a picture. If you're being asked to take a picture prior to punching time, this was enabled by your administrator. Please reach out to them if you believe this is an error.
