Overview: If you don't want to pay for Buddy Punch by debit or credit card, we also offer the ability to pay by ACH. You must contact Buddy Punch support to have the option enabled on your account.

Setup ACH

1. Please contact [email protected] to request access to the ACH option.

2. Once enabled, you will want to go to the Settings --> Billings page.

3. You should see a new Setup ACH option in the top right:

1. After you start the ACH setup process, you can verify by directly connecting your bank. Top banks populate by default, but you can search to find more options:

Don't see your bank? Then manual ACH verification is required.

2. If you find your bank, select it. You'll then be shown a screen that lets you know your payment for Buddy Punch will be processed through Stripe. Click Agree and continue to proceed:

3. You'll then be asked to login to your chosen bank:

4. After linking your account, verification will be complete and no other action is required.

Manual ACH Verification

1. If your bank is not listed for instant ACH verification or if you simply want to use the manual option, you can choose Enter Bank Details Manually Instead:

2. You'll then be asked to enter your bank details which includes:

Routing number
Account number
and then confirm the Account number

Then click Submit:

3. After submitting, you'll be presented with a page letting you know that micro-deposits have been initiated. Additionally, you'll receive an email with more instructions to verify your bank account in 1 to 2 business days.

There are two possible micro-deposit types:

Microdeposit Types:

Descriptor Code: A single, $0.01 microdeposit is sent with a unique, 6-digit descriptor code.
Amount: Two non-unique microdeposits are sent for the customer to verify using the deposit amounts.

Click Continue with Buddy Punch:

4. You'll then be taken back to the Buddy Punch billing page where you'll see a success message:

5. Once you receive the verification email from Stripe and also your micro bank deposits, you'll want to click the Verify deposit link in the Stripe email:

6. You'll be taken to a new page where you can then enter the 6-digit code from your bank statement starting with SM, to verify your account:
