Overview: Employees can use Apple Face ID technology to quickly and securely log into the Buddy Punch mobile app. Once enabled, Face ID eliminates the need to manually enter your username and password each time you sign in.
Instructions:
Enable Face ID—iPhone Users
Please know, that the following instructions are designed for iPhones that support Face ID, including various iPhone models such as iPhone X and later:
Start by going to Settings on your iPhone.
Scroll down and select Face ID & Passcode. You might be prompted to enter your device's passcode.
Click Set Up Face ID.
Before you begin the process of setting up Face ID, please make sure you're in a well-lit area and that nothing is covering your face and/or camera.
Follow the on-screen instructions to position your face within the frame. You'll be asked to move your heard in a circle so the camera can capture all angles of your face.
After completing the first scan, click Continue.
You'll then perform the head movement again. When the scan is done, click Done.

Enable Face ID—iPad Pro Users
Please know, that the following instructions are designed for iPads that support Face ID, including iPad Pro models 3rd generation and later. The steps for enabling Face ID on an iPad Pro are similar to those on an iPhone:
Start by going to Settings on your iPad Pro.
Scroll down and select Face ID & Passcode. You might be prompted to enter your iPad's passcode.
Click Set Up Face ID.
Before you begin the process of setting up Face ID, please make sure you're in a well-lit area and that nothing is covering your face and/or camera.

How to Use Face ID
1. To use Face ID, open the Buddy Punch iOS app and then click Sign In with Face ID:
2. You will then be asked if you want to allow Buddy Punch to use Face ID. Click OK to proceed:
3. Face ID will go through its quick verification process and if you are successfully verified, you will be logged into the Buddy Punch iOS app.
4. If by chance the process is not successful, you'll receive an error message stating such. You can then Try Face ID Again as needed:
