Find your mobile device version below and follow the listed steps to enable location services for the Buddy Punch app.
Android 10 & 11
On your phone's home screen, find the Buddy Punch app icon.
Touch and hold the app icon.
Tap App info.
Tap Permissions
Enable the Location option
Android 9.0
Tap your smartphone Settings app.
Tap Apps & notifications.
Tap See all apps.
Select the Buddy Punch app.
Tap Permissions.
Toggle the “Location” option.
Android 8.0
Tap your smartphone Settings app.
Tap Apps & notifications.
Tap App Info.
Select the Buddy Punch app.
Tap Permissions.
Enable Location.
Android 7.0
Go to Settings.
Tap on Apps.
Click on Settings gear icon from top right side screen beside three vertical dots.
Tap on App permissions.
Select Location.
Enable location permission for Buddy Punch.
Android 4.1 and Above
From the Home screen, touch Apps.
Select Settings.
Scroll to and select Location.
Toggle the slider to turn Location on.
iOS
Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Make sure that Location Services is on.
Scroll down to find the Buddy Punch app.
Tap the app and select either option:
While Using the App: Allows access to Location Services only when the app or one of its features is visible on screen. If an app is set to While Using the App, you might see your status bar turn blue with a message that an app is actively using your location.
Always: Allows access to your location even when the app is in the background.
