Overview: Email or push notifications sent by an Administrator or another Manager, and messages sent to assigned employees, can be viewed from the Buddy Punch website and mobile app.
Important: Managers must have either View or Approval Time permissions to view email or push notification messages for others.

View Messages (Web)
Important: You can view email and push notification messages for yourself and your assigned employees through the Buddy Punch website.
1. To view messages from our website, click the Message icon found in the top navigation:
2. Then click on Message Log:
3. Once on the Message Log page, you can filter by Employees, Type of message (Email or Push Notification) and Submit:
4. You can then review the Subject, Message, and Sent details for any data populated:
Important: You can't reply to emails or push notifications in Buddy Punch. You can reply to emails through your email service.
View Messages (App)
Important: You can only view your own push notification messages through
the Buddy Punch app. Push notifications for your assigned employees or emails need to be viewed from our website.
1. Start by clicking the three dashed menu located in the top left-hand corner. (Left image below)
2. Then click My Notifications. (Right image below)
3. Once on the My Notifications page, you can click the arrow next to the message you'd like to view in more detail. (Left image below)
4. The notification will include when the message was sent, by whom, the subject of the notification, and the main body. (Right image below)
Important: You can't reply to push notification messages.

Q: Can I send a message back to my employer?
A: No, you cannot reply to messages through the Buddy Punch website or mobile app, but you can reply to emails through your email provider.
