Overview: Users can disable or clear autofill in their web browser to prevent old or incorrect login details from being saved. This helps ensure the correct credentials are entered each time you sign in to Buddy Punch.
Jump To:
Google Chrome
Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Go to Passwords and Autofills > Google Password Manager.
To disable: navigate to Settings, then toggle off the options for: Offer to save passwords, Automatically create a passkey to sign in faster and Sign in automatically.
To clear saved login: go to Passwords, find the saved entry for Buddy Punch, and click Remove.
Microsoft Edge
Open Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Passwords.
To disable: Click the option for More Settings then toggle off: Ask to save passwords and passkeys and Autofill passwords and passkeys.
To clear saved login: locate Buddy Punch under Passwords, click into it, then select Delete.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox and click the three-line menu in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security > Passwords.
To disable: uncheck Fill usernames and passwords automatically, then Ask to save passwords.
To clear saved login: click Saved Passwords, search for Buddy Punch, and click Remove.
Safari
Open Safari and click Safari > Settings in the top menu.
Select the Passwords tab, then click Open Passwords.
Authenticate with your Mac login.
Find Buddy Punch in the list and click into it, then click Edit, followed by Delete.
To disable: click Passwords > Settings, then switch Saved Passwords to Do not ask when signing in.
