Overview: Administrators can enable the Time Entry (Duration) option from the Buddy Punch website. This feature enables employees or salaried workers to enter the total number of hours worked in a day, eliminating the need to punch in and out.
Common Use Cases: This feature is commonly used for tracking the work hours of salaried employees. It's also used when employees only need to track the amount of time spent on a particular project or task, as opposed to the hours worked.

FAQs
Q: Why don't employees see the time entry option?
A: If employees aren't seeing the time entry option, then it's not enabled for their account. Please reference the instructions at the top of this article to enable it for the employees in question.
Q: Why don't I see GPS details for a Time Entry (Duration)?
A: Even if GPS is set to required, GPS coordinates will not be captured when using the Time Entry (Duration) option. This is because Basic GPS is intended to track employee locations at the time of their punches. Since no punch is submitted with a Time Entry Duration, the employee's location isn't tracked.
