How to Enable or Disable the Option to Delete Punches

Overview: Once employees have started tracking time, if you want to delete their punches with start/end times, the option has to be enabled. Any punches with start/end times that have been deleted will be available on the Deleted Time Report.


Enable or Disable the Option to Delete Punches

1. Start by going to Settings --> Account Settings:

2. Check or uncheck the box next to Shifts and Time Off can be Deleted and Save once done:

Important: Enabling/disabling the option to delete punches will also enable/disable the ability for Administrators and Managers to delete time off.

Just as with punches with start/end times, any time off deleted will be available in the Deleted Time Report for auditing purposes.

A: No, the option to delete punches/work hours is global so will be applied to all employees
