How to Manage Work Hours—Employee (App)

Step-by-step instructions on how to manage work hours/punches as an employee from our Android or iOS mobile app.

Overview: If your employer allows for edits, you can manually add and edit work hours from our app.

Important: If you don't see the option to edit or punch and select time, then your employer has not enabled this option. Please contact your Administrator if you believe this is an error.

​Add Punch Time(s)

1. To add punch times/work hours, start by clicking Time Cards in the bottom navigation in app. (Left image)

2. On the Time Card page, click the + button in the top right corner. (Middle image)

3. Then click the Add Punch option. (Right image)

4. From there you can enter all relevant work hour/punch information and Save when done. (Left image)

5. You'll then be taken back to your time card where if your employer requires approval for edits, the status of the newly added punch will be set to Pending Approval. If they don't require approvals, the newly added punch will be accepted immediately. (Right image)

​Edit Punch Time(s)

1. To edit existing work hours/punches, log in and choose Time Cards in the bottom navigation. (Left image)

2. Then, select the arrow to the right of the work hours you want to edit. (Middle image)

3. You'll then want to choose the arrow next to either the Punch In or Punch Out. (Right image)

4. You'll want to choose your new work hours/punch time, select any codes or shift necessary, and add a note if needed. Click Save once done. (Left image)

5. Once saved, you'll be taken back to the punch detail page where you'll find your new punch time immediately applied or Pending Approval depending on the account settings. (Middle image)

6. You will also see the Pending Approval notification on your time card as well. This will change to Approved once your manager or administrator has approved the edit. (Right image)


Q: Why don't I see the option to edit my punches or punch and select time?

A: If you don't see the option to punch and select time or edit your punches, your employer doesn't have edits enabled for you. If you believe this is an error, please reach out to your administrator.
