Overview: When using our advanced/real-time GPS feature, which is only available on the Premium Plan or higher, you can set it so an employee is automatically punched out on signal loss, or when location services are disabled.
You can receive an email or push notification when this occurs by setting up the Punch Out Alert (GPS Signal Loss) as detailed here.
Enable Automatic Punch Out on Signal Loss
1. You can enable the Automatic Punch Out on Signal Loss setting by going to Settings --> GPS Settings:
2. Once there, you will need to have GPS on Punches set to Required and GPS Tracking During Shifts set to On, before enabling the Automatic Punch Out on Signal Loss option:
3. Once enabled and this option triggers, the employee will be automatically punched out and a note added to their punch stating they were punched out due to signal loss:
