Overview: A work week is a fixed, recurring period of seven consecutive days (e.g., Monday to Sunday) set by an employer to track employee hours. Overtime is typically calculated based on the hours worked within that work week. In most cases, employees earn overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 hours in a single work week but this varies depending on location, type of work, etc.

1. To set the first day of the work week, start by clicking Settings in the top navigation followed by Overtime:
