The Data Retention Add-On is billed yearly at $24.00 per user, per year, on both monthly and annual plans. It's paid up front when you add it, covers 12 months starting that day, and isn't refundable.
How to Enable the Data Retention Add-On

Important! Data Retention is charged for a full 12 months on the day you add it, even if your plan renews on a different date. This charge isn't prorated or refundable.

Q: What happens to my data after the add-on is removed?
A: If you remove the add-on, it stays on until the end of the year you paid for and then doesn't renew. After that, data retention reverts to the standard 3-year period, and data older than this will no longer be accessible.

A: No, the add-on applies to all users in your account at the per-user yearly rate.

A: Switching between monthly and annual billing doesn't change the add-on or refund any of its year. Nothing is charged for the add-on while your account is paused, and if its renewal date falls during the pause, it renews when your account comes back. If you cancel, the add-on ends with your account, and unused months aren't refunded.
