Overview: To help streamline your scheduling needs, we have implemented the ability to configure the order your employees are sorted by on the Schedule. This resource is intended to serve as a guide for the different methods of sorting.
Instructions:
Sort by Name
After navigating to the Schedule from the top navigation, you can choose to sort alphabetically by either First Name, Last Name, or by Last name, First name by using the View By dropdown:
Sort by Job Code
After navigating to the Schedule from the top navigation, you can choose to sort alphabetically by scheduled Location, Department Code, or Position by using the View By dropdown.
When sorting by Location, employees will be grouped together based on the scheduled Location, then by scheduled Department:
When sorting by Department Code, employees will be grouped together based on the Department they are scheduled to work in:
Finally, when sorting by Position, employees will be grouped together based on their scheduled Position:
Drag and Drop
After navigating to the Schedule from the top navigation, if your employees are sorted by name, you can choose to custom sort the list by clicking an employee's name to drag and drop them:
Note: The way the schedule is sorted is based on browser cookies, so as long as you're using the same browser to view the schedule, your sorting choice will be remembered. If you use a different browser or if you clear browser cookies, you will need to redo the sorting process.
