Overview: The Approve Time Card Reminder can remind Managers or Administrators to review and approve time cards. The reminder can be sent to a Manager or Administrator via email, push notification, or both.
Important! Time Card Approvals must be enabled to use this reminder. More information on how to enable Time Card Approvals can be found here.
Instructions:
Create an Approve Time Card Reminder
1. Start by clicking Settings --> Alerts & Reminders:
2. Then click + Add a New Alert/Reminder:
3. You'll then be able to specify the:
Reminder Name—This will be in the message to users.
Reminder Type—Approve Time Card Reminder
Trigger Day—How many days before or after the pay period closes that the reminder will trigger.
Important! Don't see the Approve Time Card Reminder option in the Type dropdown? You may need to enable time card approvals as detailed here.
4. As a final step, you'll want to choose who the message should be sent to and if it should be sent via email, push notification, or both. Assign the proper employees and Save once done:
