Overview: If you are using our payroll services and want a worker to onboard themselves, or they need to make a change to their payroll details, that process can be initiated by sending the payroll onboarding email.
Send or Resend the Payroll Onboarding Email
1. To send or resend the payroll onboarding and allow a worker to update their bank account on their own, start by going to Payroll --> People:
2. Click View next to the name worker in question to access their payroll profile:
3. Once in their payroll payroll, click Sending Onboarding Email located in the top right of the profile:
4. You'll see a green confirmation message shortly after:
5. When the worker next logs in, they'll see a blue banner letting them know Payroll Setup is available to them. They will also see Payroll Setup in the top navigation:
6. They'll be required to select how they want to receive their tax documents:
7. And then be presented with a payroll module where they can enter remaining personal, direct deposit, and tax withholding information:
