Overview: Administrators can view an employee’s used time off by running reports or by checking the Time Off section within the employee’s profile on the Buddy Punch website.
Instructions:
PTO Summary Report
1. Start by clicking Reports in the top navigation, followed by PTO Summary:
2. From there, you can:
Select Employees
Filter by Paid Time Off
Specify the Start/End Date
And Submit once done:
3. After the data has populated, you can use the Column Visibility filter to specify which columns you want or don't want to see. You can proceed with exporting via CSV, Excel, PDF, or print the report:
4. To view a detailed summary for a specific employee, click their blue highlighted name:
Hours Report by Time Off Report
1. Start by clicking Reports in the top navigation, followed by Hours Report By --> Time Off:
2. You can then select from Employee(s) in the dropdown, select any Time Off(s), and also specify a Start/End Date. After you've selected or entered the necessary information, click Submit:
3. Once data is populated, you'll see new Export to options in the top right-hand corner, including CSV, Excel, PDF, and Print:
4. By clicking on an employee name, time off type, or hours, you'll be taken to the In/Out Activity report, giving you a more detailed breakdown:
Time Off Summary
1. To view time off used for a specific employee using the Time Off Summary, start by clicking Employees in the top navigation:
2. Then click View next to the name of the employee whose time off summary you'd like to review:
3. Once in their profile, click Time Off from the left-hand menu:
4. This will bring you to the Time Off section, where you can click View next to a specific time off type to review its history in more detail:
5. From the Time Off History page, you can make adjustments to balances using the Time Off Accrual Entry. Time off entries not added from the time off calendar can be deleted from this page as well:
