How to Edit Time Off—Administrator (Web)

Overview: When using the time off feature, Administrators can edit time off for any employee from the Buddy Punch website.

Instructions:


Edit Time Off (Time Off Calendar)

1. The first way to edit time off is via the Time Off Calendar, which can be accessed by selecting Time Off from the top navigation:

2. Once there, click on the time off entry you'd like to edit:

3. When editing time off, you can change the Time Off Type, the number of Hours, and add a Note. Once you've made the necessary changes, Save once done:

4. Once an edit has been saved, if you click into it again, you can see the changes made from the Revision History:


Edit Time Off (Time Card)

1. The second way to edit time off is via the Time Card, which can be accessed by selecting Time Cards from the top navigation and then View All:

2. After being taken to the time cards, select the pay period you need from the drop down, and then click View next to the employee you'd like to make changes for:

3. Once you're on the time card, click Edit next to the time off request:

4. This will take you to the edit window, where you can change the Time Off Type, number of Hours, and add a Note. Once you've made any necessary changes, click Save:

5. After saving, you'll be taken back to the time card, where you can now see the status as showing Changed By Manager:

6. If you click Edit on the entry again, you'll be able to see the changes made in the Revision History:
