An overview of the Early/Late report and how to use it.

Overview: The Early/Late Report allows you to determine if an employee was early/late when punching in/out of their scheduled shift.

Important: The scheduling feature is required in order to run this report.

Export options include:

  • CSV

  • Excel

  • PDF

  • Print

Run the Early/Late Report

1. You'll first want to specify when an employee should be considered early/late. This can be done by going to Settings --> Scheduling and updating the Early/Late Settings:

2. You'll then want to click Reports in the top navigation followed by Scheduling --> Early/Late:

3. From there you can:

  • Select Employees

  • Choose the Type (Late In, Late Out, Early In, Early Out)

  • Choose Location, Department, or Position Codes

  • Specify the Start/End Date

And Submit once done:

4. If you click the header, for example, "Last Name", you can change the sorting of the report. You can then export via CSV, Excel, PDF, or Print the report:


FAQ:

Q: How can I specify if an employee is considered early or late?

A: You can specify when an employee is considered late by going to Settings --> Scheduling and updating the Early / Late Settings.

Q: If I use Punch Rounding, what times will show on the Early/Late Report?

A: If using Punch Rounding, the Early/Late report shows the rounded times, not the original/actual punch times.
