Overview: The Scheduling feature allows you to create and publish shifts for your team quickly and efficiently. You can assign shifts to employees or create open shifts that Managers and Administrators can distribute as needed.
Important! Scheduling is included in the Pro and Enterprise plans and is available as an add-on to the Starter plan for $1 per user/month. For a breakdown of what's included in each plan, click on a plan name below:

Create Scheduled Shifts (Web)
1. Start by navigating to the Schedule page:
2. Once on the Schedule page, click an open area to populate the shift creation box:
2a. Or click under the Open Shift row to create an open shift that can be assigned later:
3. From the schedule creation box, you can specify:
Which employee(s) should be assigned to the shift
The shift start/end time
A break (this is for informational purposes only)
Choose a color for the shift
Assign any Location, Department, or Position codes
Add a note
Click Add Shift once you've entered all the necessary details:
4. You'll be taken back to the schedule page, where you'll find your newly added shift in the draft status:
Publish Scheduled Shifts (Web)
1. Once a shift has been added to the schedule, it will be in draft mode; this is indicated by an outlined shift. To publish, click the Publish button in the top right-hand corner:
2. When publishing, you have the option of sending a notification to:
All employees
Employees with changes only (i.e., edits or deletions)
Employees in the current view
Employees with shifts in the current view
Once you've made your selection, you can then either publish via email, push notification, or both:
Create Scheduled Shifts (App)
1. Start by clicking Schedule in the bottom navigation. (Left image below)
2. If there's currently no schedule created, on the Dashboard under Today's Schedule, you'll find the +Make a schedule option. (Right image below)
3. Once on the Schedule page, click the + button in the top right-hand corner or next to the date of the shift you'd like to add. (Left image below)
4. You'll be able to specify the employee, shift start/end times, a break, add job codes, and enter a note if needed.
If you use availability, you will find preferred or unavailable times on this page. (Middle image below)
5. After you've entered the required information, click Save. (Right image below)
6. Once saved, you'll be taken back to the schedule page, where your newly added shift will be in draft status.
Publish Scheduled Shifts (App)
1. Once a shift has been added to the schedule, it will be in the draft status. When you're ready to publish, visit the Schedule page and select the Publish button. (Left image below)
2. You'll then be able to choose if you'd like to send a notification and, if so, how. The options are Email, Push, and Both. You also have the option to Publish with no notifications. (Middle image below)
8. After publishing, you'll be taken back to the schedule page, where you'll receive a publish confirmation message, and the status of the shift will be changed to published - solid color. (Right image below)
